Hadley's first snow

Last weekend Hadley and I went on Cornerstone's ladies retreat in South Lake Tahoe. Hadley did great on the drive until we were just about to enter Tahoe. Luckily Auntie Sarah was in the back seat to provide a finger for Hadley to suck on.
Hadley was an angel most of the weekend, she loved the music by Sharri Youngward, listening to her Gramma talk about the truths of God, and all the attention she got from the nice ladies.
Hadley and I shared a room with Gramma Debbie and had lots of fun in the snow!

Hadley's first Easter

We had a Lovely Day on Easter Sunday! Although the weather was not ideal, it was still a very special day of celebration with our great family and friends. The church sanctuary was filled to the brim, Hadley decided the cry room would be a more suitable place for us to sit. Pappi Pastor Bill had an inspiring sermon, then we enjoyed a yummy brunch with the whole church body.
Our little family of three took a family nap then made our way over to Gramma and Pappi's house where we had a huge feast with the rest of the family and watched sweet Bella hunt for Easter eggs.. can't believe that will be Hadley next year!

Here are a few photos that sum up our day..

Great Grandparents

On April 3rd Hadley go to meet her Great Grandma Francis and Great Grandpa Sam. They loved her or corse! Here are some sweet pictures of their meeting.

seven weeks and so very spoiled

I just can't help myself! Now that Hadley is reacting to toys in a very cute way I want her to have every cute toy (and outfit) out there! Yesterday on her seven week Birthday Chris and I decided it was time for a play gym. Hadley had been laying on our bed talking to the ceiling fan for the last few weeks, so a play gym sounded like the perfect thing for her. My Mom and a had a lovely day at the mall in Pleasanton. It is so fun toting Hadley around in public places.. people are so sweet to her! Some of the nice compliments we heard yesterday; "oh what a little doll!" "so precious" "she is so sweet" ...I have to say I completely agree! She was so content, just looking around taking in the sights and dozing off.

Like old friends, but better

I can't believe we are halfway through this month already.. I need to start to prioritize my time a little better to post more of Hadley! ...I am getting better at typing one handed! Just can't put this little one down, but when I do put her down, you better believe I have the camera in hand!
Just gave the little sweetie a peaceful bath while listening to some coldplay. Hadley LOVES music! Now we are waiting for Dadddy to come home from work while cooking up some bacon and hard boild eggs for tonights dinner: cobb salad yum. Today is such an "eat a fresh meal in the yard" day!

Goodbye, February

What an amazing month! I am slightly sad to say goodbye but also very much looking forward to the coming spring season and all the pretty flowers, sweet baby ensembles, and beautiful stroller weather.
I can't believe how quickly Hadley's birth month has flown by and all the milestones we have already experienced..

High Octane

Last Thursday Hadley had her two week check up with Dr. Reid. I was looking forward to seeing her current stats because she looked and felt as though she had filled out quite quickly. I was right, little Hadley is growing like a weed! She already weighs 8 pounds, 11 ounces and is 21 and 3/4" long! So amazing! Dr. Reid told me I must be producing some high octane milk... that, or the girl just likes to eat all day! Overall the appointment went well, The doctor told us Hadley is pretty much perfect. We already knew that one.

After our Doctor visit, we went over to Genova's for Hadley's first lunch out. She was a perfect angel sleeping in the moby wrap the whole time.
